Florence A. Kiley (nee Sisco), age 75, of Marlton, passed away on September 6, 2019, with the love and support of family by her side. Born and raised in Philadelphia, PA, Florence grew up in a big family with laughter, love, and food. Florence graduated from Little Flower High School with the class of 1962.
Florence grew up loving to swim and was talented at water ballet. If you would have asked Florence when she met the love of her life, she would have told you that it was at ten days old when her Tom was born. Florence and Tom’s mothers were friends. Florence loved to dance and taught Tom how to Jitterbug in the school yard in the seventh grade. They were married in 1965 with a large wedding of 550 guests. Florence and Tom were married for fifty four years and have three children.
Florence and Tom moved to Marlton, NJ in 1976 and joined St. Joan of Arc Parish. Florence had a deep spiritual faith and love for the Blessed Mother. Florence loved roses and peonies along with celebrating all holidays, especially Christmas.
Florence had a wonderful laugh and had a special way of making everyone she came in contact with feel loved. She loved to spend time going to Atlantic City with Tom and going to see Johnny Mathis many times over the years. Florence was the happiest surrounded by her family and making a large pot of meatballs for everyone to enjoy. The smell of her meatballs and Johnny Mathis music playing will always be remembered. Florence’s most treasured time was when her grandchildren were born.
Florence was the beloved wife of Thomas Kiley. Loving mother of Maria Gamble (Kevin), Thomas Kiley, Jr., and Donna Kiley. Dear sister of Clara Gabriele, Isabella Deluca, and Mary Breuer. Cherished grandmother of Thomas, Kayla, and Kimberly Kiley, and Gina Florence Gamble. Florence is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbors and friends.
The family would like to thank the Staff of Samaritan Hospice in Voorhees for their care and support.
