Margarita (Margie) Parrilla (91) died on November 24th, 2019, surrounded by loved ones. Margarita is preceded in death by her husband John Parrilla, her mother Dominga Feble (Orsini), father Pedro Feble and sister and brother-in-law Virginia and John Rivera and brother-in-laws Irving Teibel and David Juran. Margie is survived by her sisters Francesca (Francis) Juran and Iris Teibel. Margie moved to New Jersey in 2014 to be close her sister Iris and northeastern family. Margie was a native of Puerto Rico and spent many years in New York City and Sarasota, Florida. She loved the beach and spending time with her husband Johnny. Margie was incredibly stylish and loved going out with friends and relatives. Margie grew up in New York City - the Bronx where she learned and developed her Orsini cooking skills, which she passed on to many of her family members. In New York, Margie also developed her talents as a pattern dress maker training at F.I.T. She enjoyed a great career and became successful working with many renowned designers. Margie was a beloved aunt and was a key part of her nieces’ and nephews’ lives. She enjoyed making dresses and suits for their communion and other special occasions. She also took her nieces and nephews on many great trips; especially to New York cultural events and her apartment in Puerto Rico and always took interest in their lives. Margie enjoyed going to church and attending Spanish social clubs. She was very thoughtful and generous in her gift giving. Margie will be greatly missed by her sisters Iris and Francis, her many nieces and nephews and their children. She will also be missed by her friends from Yonkers and Sarasota along with extended family in Puerto Rico and North Carolina. Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing on Tuesday December 3rd from 11:00 AM - 12:00 Noon at the Bradley Funeral Home, Rt. 73 & Evesham Rd.,Marlton, NJ. Funeral Service will begin at 12:00 Noon. Interment will follow at Locustwood Memorial Park, Cherry Hill, NJ.
